What does a “villain” sound like? How about a “noble” character? What melody expresses sadness, and which one suits joy? The amusing Papageno, the sorrowful Pamina, the menacing Monostatos, and the dignified Sarastro – these are the colorful characters from The Magic Flute, an opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. During the concert, we will get to know their stories better and discover who sings soprano, tenor, baritone, or bass. We’ll also take a quick trip to Vienna, where the composer lived and worked. We will look at his portraits, learn fun facts about his life, and most importantly, try to uncover the “musical magic” through which Mozart so convincingly captured the personalities of his characters. Our meeting will be a delightful musical introduction to the world of The Magic Flute – the most famous and most frequently performed opera in the world.

The educational concert is intended for groups aged 7-10.
