DAGMARA DUDZIŃSKA

Pianist. Graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, the piano class under Prof. Bronisława Kawalla (diploma in 1996). Dudzińska perfected her chamber-music skills under the tutelage of Prof. Barbara Halska, she was particularly interested in vocal chamber music.

Between 1994 and 2017 she worked as a pianist and soloists tutor in the Warsaw Chamber Opera. She played harpsichord in numerous operas by Mozart, Rossini, Cimarosa, and many others. Dudzińska participated in successive editions of the Mozart Festival and the Gioacchino Rossini Opera Festival in Warsaw (Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, The Marriage of Figaro, La Finta Semplice, The Barber of Seville or The Italian Girl in Algiers).

Together with the artists of the Warsaw Chamber Opera she toured in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Lebanon, Japan, Switzerland, and many other countries. During her tours she’s had an opportunity to perform at various prestigious festivals, such as the Mozart Festival in Madrid, or the Al Bustan Festival in Beirut.

For many years, she actively participated in the annual Summer Course of Musical Interpretation in Nowy Sącz, as well as in successive editions of the Summer Polish Composers Song Festival, and the Festival of European Song.

The pianist has cooperated on opera projects with many acclaimed conductors, such as: F. Haider, J.M. Florencio, Ł. Borowicz, K. Bumann, and R. Silva.

In 2003, she was awarded the diploma for “the Popularization of Music” by the Minister of Culture, and in 2004, as a laureate of the “Music Youth Forum”, she won the award of the President of the Capital City of Warsaw. In 2011, she was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit.

In her artistic output one can also find recordings for the Polish Radio.

Dagmara Dudzińska is also a teacher. In 1996, she became a lecturer at the vocal faculty of her Alma Mater in the class of Prof. Krystyna Szostek-Radkowa, and at present she teaches in Prof. Ryszard Cieśla’s class.

Since 2018 she’s worked as a pianist and soloists tutor in the Polish Royal Opera.
