THE POLISH ROYAL OPERA ON TOUR

Ladies and Gentlemen,

In the new artistic season 2023/2024, the Artists of the Polish Royal Opera continue the implementation of the OPERA ON TOUR program. Promoting high culture in various parts of Poland is one of the priorities of our institution.

On Saturday, the 2nd of September, the concert version of Stanisław Moniuszko’s Haunted Manor was performed in Zielona Góra. The event was included in the calendar of celebrations of the 160th Anniversary of the January Uprising, and the atmosphere of Polishness – so strongly present in the most beautiful fragments of Moniuszko’s work, passionately performed by the Soloists and the Orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera conducted by Dawid Runtz – filled the extraordinary venue of the Prince’s Park in Zatonie.

On the 9th of September, our soloists – Dorota Lachowicz and Leszek Świdziński – together with the pianist Dagmara Dudzińska visited the Tarnowski Castle Museum in Tarnobrzeg. During the concert entitled TWO DAWNS, they presented Polish vocal music from the 19th and early 20th centuries, filled with a variety of emotions and moods.

We are happy to announce that soon our Artists will have the opportunity to perform in other cities. Later this month, the opera gala GIOACCHINO ROSSINI – THE KING OF OPERA BUFFA will take place in the castle courtyard in Krasiczyn, and in the Church of Sacred Heart of Jesus in Radom, our audience members will join us during the EARLY MUSIC CONCERT.
