THE POLISH ROYAL OPERA ON TOUR AGAIN

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Polish Royal Opera is happy to announce the return of its mission of OPERA ON TOUR. The main goal of this program is to promote high culture in various parts of Poland.

The artists of the Polish Royal Opera will be heard during interesting events taking place as part of the 3rd Summer Festival of Sacred Music “Ucho igielne” in Sandomierz and its vicinity, and the 3rd Festival of Arts in Czarnolas.

On the 10th of July, the outstanding soprano Olga Pasiecznik and her sister – the excellent pianist Natalia Pasiecznik – will perform beautiful songs by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Śmiłów. A week later, on the 17th of July, the inimitable Anna Radziejewska will perform moving arias and cantatas by Antonio Vivaldi in the Sandomierz Cathedral. During the concert Cessate, omai cessate, she will be accompanied by the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona under the direction of maestro Krzysztof Garstka.

The culmination of the artistic season will be the performance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem in the magnificent neo-Gothic church in Policzna on the 25th of July 2021. In addition to the outstanding soloists – Marta Boberska, Aneta Łukaszewicz, Jacek Szponarski and Wojciech Gierlach – it will be performed by the Chorus and the Orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera conducted by David Runtz.
