THE CHORUS OF THE POLISH ROYAL OPERA

null

The Chorus of the Polish Royal Opera (currently “Zespół Wokalny Polskiej Opery Królewskiej”, until the end of 2017 it existed under the name “Chór Polskiej Opery Królewskiej”) performs choral parts in stagings and concert versions of operas, oratorios, and other vocal and instrumental works. The ensemble, consisting of 12 to 24 people, is made up of talented and qualified vocalists – graduates of music universities with extensive concert and stage experience. The ensemble’s repertoire includes works from different eras – from the compositions of Claudio Monteverdi, Georg Friedrich Handel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, through the works of Stanisław Moniuszko and Józef Elsner, to the contemporary works of Włodek Pawlik. The Chorus of the Polish Royal Opera performs under the baton of an excellent conductor – Jakub Szafrański.
