Soprano. Graduated with honours from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw. While studying, she received the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art and the President of the Capital City of Warsaw.
Between 1994 and 2017 she was a soloist in the Warsaw Chamber Opera. She performed over 40 solo parts on stage, in operas by W. A. Mozart, G. Rossini, G. F. Handel, C. Monteverdi, H. Purcell, G. Verdi, J. Blow, G. Rossini, D. Cimarosa, A. Scarlatti, J. B. Lully, A. Campra, as well as oratorio parts in various works by J. S. Bach, G. F. Handel, and many others. She’s collaborated with the Polish National Opera (Widma and Verbum nobile by S. Moniuszko), the Latvian National Opera in Riga (The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart), the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz (The Messiah by G. F. Handel), the Cracow Opera (Cosi fan tutte by W.A. Mozart, The Revenge of the Bat by J. Strauss). In the season 1998/1999 the played the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute directed by J.-C. Malgoire, in the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris and in other theatres. In the Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw she partnered K. Janda in the play Maria Callas – lekcja śpiewu (“Maria Callas – a singing lesson”).
Boberska gives many concerts, performs chamber and oratorio-cantata music. She collaborates with many ensembles and performers specializing in period music but also performs modern music (e.g. the first performance of the Marijn Simons song cycle in Finland in 2003). She collaborates with the Polish Radio (concerts, recitals, and archival recordings). She has performed under many acclaimed conductors, such as J. Maksymiuk, J. Krenz, A. Wit, K. Kord, W. Michniewski, J. Kaspszyk, T. Strugała, A. Straszyński, T. Bugaj, T. Wojciechowski, Ch. Hogwood, F. Bruggen, J.-C. Malgoire, H. Rilling, M. Zilm, M. Plasson, Ł. Borowicz, J. M. Florêncio, K. Bumann, R. Silva, M. Dworzyński.
Boberska performs in theatres and concert halls in Poland and abroad, e.g. in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Japan, Oman, USA, Lebanon, Ukraine, and Russia. She participated in many festivals (e.g. the Beethoven Festival, The Wratislavia Cantans, the Chopin and His Europe Festival, the Music in the Old Cracow Festival, the Goldberg Festival, the Music in the Historical Sites of Warsaw, the Warsaw Music Encounters, the Al Bustan Festival, the Festival van Vlaanderen Brugge, the Two Days & Nights of New Music Odessa).
Her artistic output includes many recordings, for instance: J. A. Hasse – Zenobia, G. F. Handel – Imeneo, K. Forster – Vanitas vanitatum, J. Peri – Euridice, M. Mielczewski – Opera omnia, G. G. Gorczycki – Opera omnia, S. S. Szarzyński – Opera omnia, D. Scarlatti – Tetide in Sciro, J. Strauss – The Revenge of the Bat, G. Mahler – Symphony No. 8, S. Moniuszko – Msze (Vol. 1 and 2). Boberska’s also recorded for radio, television, and film (music by J. A. P. Kaczmarek in A. Holland’s films, and soundtracks for films by A. Wajda and other directors).
She was frequently nominated for various music awards, e.g. the Polityka Passport Award (2000, 2001, and 2002), and the Fryderyk Award (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005). In 2009, the album Msze by S. Moniuszko, in which she appeared, won the Fryderyk Award. Boberska was awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Silver and Golden Cross of Merit, and the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis.
Since 2017 she’s been a soloist in the Polish Royal Opera.
