Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Polish Royal Opera would like to invite you on next Wednesday to another event as part of the nationwide initiative #StayHome – art will come to you. This time we offer you a retransmission of the concert SOL PER TE / HANDEL DUETS registered on 9 January 2019 in the W. Lutosławski Concert Studio of the Polish Radio. The captivating and exquisitely diverse music of the Baroque Master will be performed by two amazing soloists – Olga Pasiecznik and Anna Radziejewska – and The Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona.
The concert will be made available on the YouTube channel of the Polish Royal Opera on 27 May at 19.00 The programme includes diverse music dialogues – between vocals, solo instruments, and instrument groups. The audience will hear both: duets from Handel’s operas, and works outside his scenic pieces. Between the vocals you will hear coworking and also competing instruments. Trio sonatas enchant with their exquisite melodic, and the masterful concerti grossi op. 6 are not without reason considered the best of their genre.
