On the 27th of March 2021, World Theatre Day is celebrated for the sixtieth time. Established by the International Theater Institute in 1961, it was celebrated for the first time in 1962 and its date was set to commemorate the opening of the Theatre of Nations in Paris on the 27th of March 1957.
