Capella Regia Polona

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Artists of the Polish Royal Opera are happy to continue the concert series OPERA ON TOUR, performing in various places in Poland. Last weekend, there were as many as two events organized as part of this program. On Friday, the 3rd of September, the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona together with the world-famous countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński inaugurated the 16th Goldberg Festival in Gdańsk. The performance was conducted by Krzysztof Garstka sitting at the harpsichord. The concert featured works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Handel and compositions by the kapellmeister from Gdańsk Johann Valentin Meder.

On Sunday, the 5th of September, our outstanding Soloists accompanied by the Orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera conducted by Dawid Runtz performed the concert version of The Haunted Manor by Stanisław Moniuszko. One of the most outstanding Polish operas resounded in the courtyard of the beautiful Castle and Park Complex in Krasiczyn. Both events were enthusiastically received by the audience.

We would like to thank you for your presence at the concerts and invite you to participate in the upcoming events – both in Warsaw and in other parts of Poland.
