THE BAROQUE FESTIVAL OF THE POLISH ROYAL OPERA HAS ENDED

Opublikowano:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Last weekend, the first Baroque Festival of the Polish Royal Opera ended with two performances of the “masterpiece of the human spirit” – L’ORPHEO by Claudio Monteverdi. For the last month, the Warsaw audience was able to enjoy the works of old masters performed by outstanding soloists, artists from the Chorus of the Polish Royal Opera, and musicians from the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona.

We heard great dramatic works of Georg Friedrich Handel (RINALDO and RODELINDA) and Henry Purcell (DIDO AND AENEAS), as well as comical performances, such as Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s LA SERVA PADRONA or Alessandro Scarlatti’s SCENE BUFFE. During all the concerts, the auditorium of the Royal Theater was fully packed. Thank you for participating in such large numbers, as well as for sharing these musical moments of joy and reflection with us.

Please join us at our next performances, concerts and festivals!
