The Polish Royal Opera would like to invite you this Wednesday, 29/04/2020, to another event as part of the nationwide initiative #StayHome – art will come to you. The Concert POLISH LYRIC IN THE PALACE ON THE ISLE / CHOPIN was recorded on 8 July 2018 during the Festival to conclude the first season of the Polish Royal Opera. Chopin’s piano works and songs were performed by the amazing artists of the Opera. We kindly invite you to listen to the music by this great Polish composer played in the breathtaking surroundings of the Palace on the Isle. The concert will be made available on the YouTube channel of the Polish Royal Opera on April 29th at 19.00
Chopin’s selected masterpieces are performed by the acclaimed young pianist Krzysztof Trzaskowski – a laureate of many awards, the semi-finalist and winner of the special award at the 15th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. The
songs will be performed by the soloists from the Polish Royal Opera – Justyna Stępień, Aneta Łukaszewicz and Andrzej Klimczak.
