GOLD MEDAL FOR MERIT TO CULTURE GLORIA ARTIS FOR OLGA PASIECZNIK

It is our great honor and pleasure to announce that the Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Professor Piotr Gliński, awarded the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis to Olga Pasiecznik – an excellent singer and teacher. The distinction was awarded in recognition of her artistic and pedagogical achievements under the Act on organizing and conducting cultural activities.
Olga Pasiecznik is one of the greatest contemporary artists-singers in Poland. For me, she is also the person who fought for the Polish Royal Opera, noted the Minister of Culture.
This unique distinction was presented after the performance of RODELINDA, in which the title role was played by our outstanding soloist that evening. This momentous event concluded the month-long 3rd Baroque Festival of the Polish Royal Opera.
