The evening filled with the music of the genius of the Classical era will open with the dazzling elegance and mastery of the Allegro from Eine kleine Nachtmusik – arguably the most famous work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concert will feature chamber arrangements of famous fragments from the operas La finta giardiniera, Die Zauberflöte, and Don Giovanni interpreted by excellent soloists and instrumentalists of the Polish Royal Opera. After all, Mozart’s signature arias and duets also function perfectly outside the context of the opera stage, and the genius of the Viennese master lies, among other things, in his ability to capture a variety of personalities and emotions. Listeners will certainly notice the many faces of the insidious seducer Don Giovanni, the evil intentions of Monostatos, or the prudence of Tamino and Pamina. The various shades of romantic infatuation will culminate in the lighthearted and joyful yet deeply moving “bird” duet of Papageno and Papagena.
