Ladies and Gentlemen,
On the 12th of February 2025, as part of the Opera Workshops series, artists from the Polish Royal Opera visited the John Paul II Public Public Library in Mrozy. There, we conducted workshops entitled Meetings with FUN. IN CARNIVAL TIME, organized for children from grades 0-3 by the Municipal Cultural Center in Mrozy.
Anna Szawiel introduced the children to the colorful world of carnival, and Marta Schnura, together with musicians from the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona, used music to transport the youngest to the times of the grand balls of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. There were also traditional symbols of carnival fun – a costume and a mask, in which Zuzanna Grzegorowska danced the minuet. The workshop participants soon joined in, performing a simple branle together.
