Ladies and Gentlemen,
In connection with the upcoming premiere of HI§TORY / MICHAŁ DOBRZYŃSKI, we have prepared a special event for the youngest music lovers: MEETING WITH HISTORY. WHY DOES THE PUSS WEAR BOOTS? / STORY WORKSHOPS FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGED 4-7.
The workshops will take place on Sunday, the 24th of November at 11:00 and 13:00 in the historic space of the Royal Theatre in the Old Orangery in the Royal Łazienki Museum. During the meeting, we will check where the shoes have a nose and where their tongue is, and whether this means that they can tell us a story. We will take a look at the wonderful footwear borrowed from the storerooms of the Polish Royal Opera and try to guess which characters wore them. We will also hear the story of Puss in Boots, or maybe a molly without shoes? The sounds of baroque instruments will take us back to the times when this story was created, showing how music shapes the narrative.
The event for children Why Does the Puss Wear Boots? is inspired by the latest premiere at the Polish Royal Opera, HI§TORY – an opera in which the shoes – or rather the lack of shoes – of the main character hold special meaning. We meet on the set of the premiere, which features a delicate ballet floor, so we invite you to join us on stage in… socks.
