Ladies and Gentlemen,

In a month, the 4TH BAROQUE FESTIVAL OF THE POLISH ROYAL OPERA will begin, dedicated to the refined and elegant French Music. On the 4th of October, this unique celebration of music will open with the premiere of Jean-Joseph de Mondonville’s opera TITON ET L’AURORE, directed by Natalia Babińska under the musical direction of Krzysztof Garstka. During three scheduled performances, the Artists of the Polish Royal Opera will weave a musical tale of awe-inspiring steadfastness and determination. Then, on Saturday, October 11, we will hear charming cantatas from Joseph Bodin de Boismortier’s cycle LES QUATRE SAISONS interpreted by Olga Pasiecznik, Adam Dobek, and the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Early Capella Regia Polona. Lovers of harpsichord virtuosity should not miss the concert GALANTERIES FRANÇAISES. A recital by one of the most talented harpsichordists of the young generation – Maciej Skrzeczkowski – will take place at the Palace on the Isle on the 12th of October.

The grand FINAL CONCERT will feature works by the most famous masters of the Sun King’s reign – one of Richard Delalande’s great motets Super flumina Babylonis, Marin Marais’ Suite en trio in E minor, and Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s radiant and triumphant Te Deum.

Tickets for the festival events are available in the tab WHAT’S ON and on the portal kicket.com.
