MAGDALENA KACZOROWSKA

Cultural manager. Graduate of the Faculty of Composition and Music Theory of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw.

She has worked in managerial positions at the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and the Warsaw Chamber Opera, among others.

Has been associated with the Polish Royal Opera since the institution’s establishment (2017), first as head of the Department of Organization of Artistic Work, and, from June 2019, as Deputy Director.

She is an active member of the Conference of Musical and Opera Theater Directors and the Association of Theater Directors.

She has worked with many acclaimed soloists (vocalists and instrumentalists), conductors (K. Penderecki, P. Eswood, M. Valdés, Ł. Borowicz among others), composers (e.g. Z. Krauze, J. Lavelli, M. Dobrzyński, D. Przybylski), as well as directors and set designers (G. Madia, M. Zalite, J. Arienti, R. Peryt, K. Janda, J. Kilian). She has participated in many festival projects, such as the Armel Opera Festival (Budapest), the “Warsaw Autumn” International Festival of Contemporary Music, and the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival.

She successfully combines work with family life and loves books and traveling.
