Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are looking forward to the inauguration of the 7th Summer Festival of the Polish Royal Opera, which this year will feature the music of Gioachino Rossini. With our youngest music lovers in mind, we have prepared the event SINGING WORKSHOP – A family meeting with Rossini at the Polish Royal Opera.
The workshops will take place on July 9th at 11:00 and July 18th at 11:00 in the historic space of the Royal Theater in the Old Orangery in the Łazienki Królewskie Museum. You will be able to learn, among other things:
- Can everyone sing and what is singing really?
- How to make our voice an instrument?
- Why does a singer need to warm up before a performance and how should you conduct so that everyone sings in sync?
We invite children aged 5-12 and their guardians to a meeting in the magical world of Rossini’s operas. The stories of Cinderella, the Barber of Seville and the Italian Girl in Algiers, stylish decorations, and beautiful music will stimulate all the senses. Children will take part in a singing lesson with the chorus master, learn the secrets of the work of an opera singer, listen to melodies composed by the Italian master, and be able to talk to artists of the Polish Royal Opera.
