Ladies and Gentlemen,
This coming Monday, the 14th of September, the Artists of the Polish Royal Opera will once again perform before a Croatian audience, this time presenting Gioachino Rossini’s L’ITALIANA IN ALGERI as part of the Fourth International Zagreb Opera Festival.
The cooperation between our institution and the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb was the subject of a meeting between Polish Royal Opera General Manager Magdalena Kaczorowska and Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia Tomislav Vidošević, held in Warsaw on the 8th of September. The meeting provided an opportunity to review previous joint initiatives and agree on concrete cooperation with the Embassy concerning a performance by soloists of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb at the Polish Royal Opera in Warsaw, planned for next spring.
We are delighted that the artistic dialogue initiated on the stages of Zagreb will continue in Warsaw. We thank the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia for its support and cooperation to date.
