We are proud and delighted to inform you that the album Les Métamorphoses du clavecin, co-authored by Krzysztof Garstka – Music Director of the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Polish Royal Opera Capella Regia Polona – has received the Gold Diploma at the 5th International Competition MUSICAL EAGLES in the Phonographic Album category.
The album Les Métamorphoses du clavecin (Chopin University Press, UMFC CD 166) was recognized by the international Jury as an outstanding artistic achievement in the discipline of music realized in 2024. It is the result of a musical collaboration between two exceptional harpsichordists – Krzysztof Garstka and Aleksander Mock – who undertook the challenge of reimagining works by French music masters of the 17th and 18th centuries in arrangements for two harpsichords. We are pleased that this “kind of sonic experiment,” as described by its creators, has been acknowledged by distinguished classical musicians serving on the Competition Jury.
