Join us for a family-friendly educational concert with the orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera! An exciting musical adventure awaits, featuring excerpts from El amor brujo (“Love, the Magician”), a ballet by the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. We’ll discover how music can paint mysterious caves, evoke ghostly dances, or conjure up magical rituals. We’ll meet a host of fascinating musical characters: the string family, the distinguished woodwinds and their brass cousins, and even a group of timpani! Stories, riddles, and a bit of movement will make sure the music will enchant both little and grown-up ears. It will also reveal to us the wonderfully intricate machine that is the orchestra, which, thanks to the conductor, works in perfect harmony.
The educational concert is intended for children aged 6 and up.
