This is but a glimpse of this wild tale combining Italian commedia dell\u2019arte with French farce, dazzling with witty dialogue and intricate ensembles. The thirty-year-old Mozart filled this play script to the brim with his musical genius. Arias that perfectly capture each character\u2019s nature touch the heart with their refined vocal and instrumental lines. Playful duets and trios, sextets and septets, together with the incomparable artistry of the orchestral parts \u2013 already evident in the famous overture \u2013 all pulse with irrepressible energy and sheer creative exuberance. Yet beneath the surface of universal, hilarious romantic mischief, in the elegant and refined musical runs, hides a quietly growing unease: the faint breath of history is waiting at the palace gates. The rigid social order quivers, and the servants\u2019 cheeky boldness toward their masters both amuses and unsettles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le nozze di Figaro belongs to the core repertoire of nearly every opera house and holds a special place in the history of the Polish Royal Opera. It was the staging of this very opera that inaugurated, in 2018, our institution\u2019s entire series of productions of Mozart\u2019s works in subsequent artistic seasons. After years of experience, we return to this title in a completely new form \u2013 this time in an original staging directed by the master of musical comedy, Jitka Stokalska \u2013 to plunge once
