The Apennine Peninsula was the birthplace of the <em>concertante<\/em> technique, full of contrasts and sophistication, realized in perfect form by such masters as Arcangelo Corelli and Antonio Vivaldi. It was there that the idea of opera first germinated, and its expressive power and abundance of creative possibilities radically changed the face of baroque musical culture. Georg Friedrich Haendel was also inspired by the Mediterranean accomplishments, and his trips to Florence, Rome, Naples, and Venice turned out to be crucial in the process of synthesis of various styles and crystallization of his individual musical language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Night of Museums, the charming space of the Old Orangery in the Royal \u0141azienki Park in Warsaw will be enlivened with the sound of music by 18th-century masters. The Period Instruments Ensemble Capella Regia Polona will bring out the variety of emotions enchanted in the excellent concertos of George Friedrich Handel, Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi, and Michael Corrette. The subtle dialogue of the orchestra with soprano Justyna St\u0119pie\u0144 in the religious motet <em>Silete Venti<\/em> will introduce listeners to a mood full of reflection and sweetness, while Dorota Lachowicz will take them to the world of baroque opera, performing moving arias from the works of Haendel and Vivaldi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:70px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>PROGRAM<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>1. instrumental concert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">G.F.
