{"id":34259,"date":"2024-11-06T13:40:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T12:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/operakrolewska.pl\/?p=34259"},"modified":"2024-11-08T15:38:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T14:38:58","slug":"invitation-to-the-debate-the-story-of-hi%c2%a7tory-or-gombrowicz-and-the-rest-of-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/operakrolewska.pl\/en\/invitation-to-the-debate-the-story-of-hi%c2%a7tory-or-gombrowicz-and-the-rest-of-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"INVITATION TO THE DEBATE The story of HI\u00a7TORY, or Gombrowicz and the rest of the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few days before the world premiere of the opera <a href=\"https:\/\/operakrolewska.pl\/en\/repetoire\/hi%c2%a7tory-michal-dobrzynski-world-premiere\/\">HI\u00a7TORY<\/a>, whose libretto is based on manuscripts (including previously unpublished fragments) of the play <em>Historia (Operetta)<\/em> by Witold Gombrowicz set to music composed by Micha\u0142 Dobrzy\u0144ski, we invite you to a meeting devoted to the work of Witold Gombrowicz and the stories that accompanied the creative process during the preparation of the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/operakrolewska.pl\/en\/repetoire\/the-story-of-hi\u00a7tory-or-gombrowicz-and-the-rest-of-the-world-debate\/\">The debate will take place on the 13th of November at 18:00 at the Royal Theatre in the Old Orangery at the Royal \u0141azienki Museum in Warsaw.<\/a><br><br>The debate will be attended by directors Maciej Wojtyszko and Jakub Krofta, composer Micha\u0142 Dobrzy\u0144ski, and a special guest &#8211; Dr Mariola Odzimkowska &#8211; assistant to Rita Gombrowicz, a lecturer at the University of Paris and an expert in Gombrowicz&#8217;s works and unknown facts from his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Editor Agata Kwieci\u0144ska will guide us through the stories about the writer&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the meeting, we will lift the veil of secrecy and invite you to take a peek at a rehearsal for the performance.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Participation in the debate is free.
