A graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. After graduation Skoneczko remained at her Alma Mater and studied at the Faculty of Stage Design under Prof. Andrzej Sadowski.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Since her debut in 1992, Skoneczko has created over 80 stage sets for theatre, opera, television, and film. She has cooperated with: the Szaniawski Theatre in Wa\u0142brzych, Opera and Operetta house and the Polish Theatre in Szczecin, the \u017beromski Theatre and the \u015awi\u0119tokrzyska Philharmonic in Kielce, the Baltic Opera in Gda\u0144sk, the Wybrze\u017ce Teatr in Gda\u0144sk, the Jaracz Theatre in Olsztyn, the Studio Theatre and the New Theatre in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, the Horzyca Theatre in Toru\u0144, the W\u0119gierka Theatre in Bia\u0142ystok, the Powszechny Theatre and the Rampa Theatre in Warsaw, the Old Theatre in Cracow, and the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Capitole in Toulouse.\u00a0 She has frequently worked with the Television Theatre, the TVP Film Agency, and has designed costumes for numerous Polish films.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Between 2002 and 2017 Skoneczko worked for the Warsaw Chamber Opera, where she co-created the following performances: <em>L\u2019elisir d\u2019amore<\/em> by G. Donizetti \u2013 costumes, <em>The Emperor of Atlantis<\/em> by V. Ullmann \u2013 costumes, <em><b>Orph\u00e9e\u00a0<\/b><\/em>by D. Przybylski \u2013 costumes, as well as stage sets and costumes for the operas: <em>Falstaff<\/em> by G. Verdi, <em>Balet dworski<\/em>(show based on various works by W. A. Mozart), <em>Azione teatrale<\/em> by W. A. Mozart, <em>In the Land of the Magic Flute<\/em> by W. A. Mozart, <em>The Marriage of Figaro<\/em> by W. A. Mozart, <em>Jepht\u00e9<\/em> by M. P. de Mont\u00e9clair, <em>Pigmalion\/Dardanus<\/em> by J.-P. Rameau, <em>The Barber of Seville<\/em> by G. Rossini, <em>Il Finto Stanislao<\/em> by G. Verdi, <em>The Marksman <\/em>\u00a0by C. M. von Weber,<em>Zbrodnia i kara<\/em> by B. Matuszczak, <em>Don Giovanni, or the Libertine Penalized<\/em> by G. Albertini, <em>Giulio Cesare<\/em> by G. F. Handel, <em>Prometeusz<\/em> by B. Strawi\u0144ski, <em>Polieukt<\/em> by Z. Krauze, <em>La voix humaine<\/em> by F. Poulenc, <em>Ja, Kain<\/em> by E. Pa\u0142\u0142asz.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0Marlena Skoneczko is also the author of the stage set and puppet designs for W. A. Mozart\u2019s <em>The Abduction from the Seraglio<\/em> (2014) realized as part of the revived Puppet Stage in the Warsaw Chamber Opera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">During her career she had an opportunity to work with many well-known directors, such as: Romana Agnel, Jitka Stokalska, Tomasz Konina, Micha\u0142 Kwieci\u0144ski, Jerzy Lach, Jorge Lavelli, Wojciech Nowak, Ryszard Peryt, Maciej Prus, Piotr Szczerski, Stanis\u0142aw Tym, Marek Weiss, Margo Zalite, and Krzysztof Zanussi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Since 2017 she works in the Polish Royal Opera. To date she has co-created the following performances: <em>Dziady \u2013 Widma<\/em> (The Phantoms) and <em>Straszny dw\u00f3r <\/em><\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">(The Haunted Manor)<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-GB\">by S. Moniuszko, <em>The Marriage of Figaro<\/em>, <em>Don Giovanni<\/em> i <em>Thamos<\/em> by W. A. Mozart, <em>Aleksander i Apelles<\/em> (Alexander and Apelles) by K. Kurpi\u0144ski, <em>Messiah Totus Tuus<\/em>by G. F. Handel and <em>Quem Queritis<\/em> with music composed by J.
