Soprano. In 2002, she graduated with honours from the Karol Lipi\u0144ski Academy of Music in Wroc\u0142aw, the solo vocal class under Prof. Dariusz Paradowski. Between 2002 and 2003, she continued her education in Flanders Operastudio in Ghent. Grzegorzewicz-Rodek received the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage twice. The artist participated in master classes taught by A. Rolf-Johnson, R. Alderson, S. Friede, M. Brennan, K. Szostek-Radkowa, G. Kahry, R. Ruskov, M. Lenz, Z. Donat, Ch. Hampe, and Ch. Elsner. In 2012, she obtained a doctorate degree in fine arts in the field of vocal arts. Currently, she is an assistant professor in the Institute of Music of the Maria Curie-Sk\u0142odowska University in Lublin.<\/p>\n
Between 2004 and 2017 Grzegorzewicz-Rodek was a soloist in the Warsaw Chamber Opera, where she played the main roles in several operas by W. A. Mozart (Vittelia in La clemenza di Tito<\/em>, Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte<\/em>, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni<\/em>, Giunia in Lucio Silla<\/em>, Sifare in Mitridate, re di Ponto<\/em>, First Lady in Die Zauberfl\u00f6te<\/em>). She appeared as Lizetta during the premiere of I. Albertini\u2019s Don Juan czyli ukarany libertyn<\/em> (\u201cDon Giovanni, or the Libertine Penalized\u201d, 2013), and as Fiorilla in the revived Il Turco in Italia<\/em> by G. Rossini (2016). Together with the Warsaw Chamber Opera she performed in France, Switzerland, and Japan.<\/p>\n Thanks to her collaboration with the Capella Cracoviensis ensemble, the artist appeared in the famous staging of J. F. Handel\u2019s Amadigi<\/em>, and then as Zosia in the Vilnius premiere of S. Moniuszko\u2019s Halka<\/em> (2017).<\/p>\n Grzegorzewicz-Rodek has made numerous appearances at prestigious festivals, such as the International Wratislavia Cantans Festival (as Rowan in Britten\u2019s The Little Sweep <\/em>), or the Baroque Festival of Ambronay. She\u2019s toured many countries in Europe and Asia. The artist performed on stage in operas in Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Turnhout, Dijon, Avignon, Toulouse, Reims, Besancon, Versailles, Rennes, Brussels, Amsterdam, Bielefeld, and Saarbr\u00fccken. She performed during the premieres for e.g. the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp and Ghent (Cupido inDiana de wraak van Cupido <\/em>\u00a0by Keiser), Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Montansier in Versailles (Melia in Mozart\u2019s Apollo et Hyacinthus<\/em> ), the Polish Opera (Pamina in Mozart\u2019s Die Zauberfl\u00f6te <\/em>), or the Academy of Baroque Music Ambronay (Venus in Lully’s Cadmus et Hermione<\/em>).<\/p>\n Her repertoire includes many songs and most oratorio and cantata parts from the works of Bach, Handel, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Mahler, Szymanowski, and Lutos\u0142awski. In 2016, she premiered all cycles of J\u00f3zef Wieniawski\u2019s songs in Lublin.<\/p>\n Her performances have been conducted by eminent conductors, such as R. Alessandrini, C. Rousset, P. Rizzo, K. Kessels, F. Heyerick, A. Duczmal, J. T. Adamus, W. Rodek, M. Pijarowski, R. Satanowski. Grzegorzewicz-Rodek has collaborated with many orchestras, including: the Sinfonia Varsovia, the Warsaw Philharmonic\u00a0Orchestra, the Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wroc\u0142aw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lower Silesia\u00a0 Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra, the European Johann Strauss Orchestra, the Capella Bydgostiensis, the Capella Cracoviensis, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of the Polish Radio.<\/p>\n She\u2019s recorded for the French Radio and Television, and the ARTE TV channel. Her discography includes a recording with the music by W. Friemann, accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw. The artist has also recorded a premiere performance of M. G\u00f3recki\u2019s Jasno\u015bci promieniste<\/em> accompanied by the Amadeus orchestra conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal.<\/p>\n Grzegorzewicz-Rodek is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the 1st prize at the 5th F. Plat\u00f3wna Polish Vocal Competition in Wroc\u0142aw, and the 1st prize at the K.
