MARTA BOBERSKA NOMINATED FOR C.NORWID AWARDS

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is with great pride and pleasure that we inform that Marta Boberska – soloist of the Polish Royal Opera – has been nominated for Cyprian Kamil Norwid Awards in the category of MUSIC for her artistic creation of La Musica and Euridice in the premiere of Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, created by our institution.

Traditionally, the winners will be announced on 24 September 2020, on Cyprian Norwid’s birthday anniversary.

The Award was founded in 2001 by the Masovian Regional Council (Sejmik Województwa Mazowieckiego) and is conferred annually on artists creating in the Masovian region in four categories: literature, music, visual arts and theatre, for their outstanding works or creations made the year before. The nominees and laureates are chosen by the Cyprian Norwid Award Committee, which includes outstanding artists, art theoreticians and critics, expert authorities, representatives of Warsaw departments of Polish artistic associations and councilors of the Masovian Voivodeship from the Komisja Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego (Culture and National Heritage Commission).
