Graduate of the 1st and 2nd degree of the Karol Szymanowski Music School in Warsaw, the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music, and the Post-secondary Economic Studies.
Since 2000 she’s been a certified accountant (18575/2000).
Between 1987 and 1994 Iwona Pastwa-Zarychta taught piano and chorus in the 1st degree Music School. Since 1995, she’s been the chief accountant and a member of the board in trade and producing companies, as well as in various cultural institutions (e.g. Ekspol, Budmax, Paanfilm Studio, OKO).
Between 1983 and 2011 she combined her accounting business with singing in the choir of the Warsaw Chamber Opera. There she also served as the Chief Accountant between 2007 and 2012.
In 2003, she was awarded the badge for Distinguished Cultural Activists.
