BOGDAN ŚLIWA

Baritone. Graduated from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk in 1988.

In 1989, he became a soloist at the Warsaw Chamber Opera. With other artists from this opera house he toured the entire Europe and visited Japan many times. He’s also collaborated with the Bydgoszcz Opera, the Cracow Opera, the Mazovian Musical Theatre, and the Roma Theatre.

His repertoire includes over 30 leading opera roles, such as Papageno in The Magic Flute, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro) by W. A. Mozart, Figaro and Bartolo in The Barber of Seville, Taddeo in The Italian Girl in Algiers) by G. Rossini, Malatesta in G. Donizetti’s Don Pasquale and Dulcamara in his L’elisir d’amore), Bartolo in G. Paisiell’s The Barber of Seville.

Since October 2017 he’s been a soloist at the Polish Royal Opera.
